A great aperitif for any dining occasion this drink is a variation of the popular sidecar.
Ready
- 1 oz brandy
- 1 oz light rum
- 1 oz Cointreau
- ½ oz fresh lemon juice*
- Ice
- Lemon twist for garnish
Set
- Champagne saucer (5 oz.)
- Cocktail shaker with strainer
Go
- Pour brandy, rum, lemon juice, and Cointreau over ice in shaker.
- Cover and shake.
- Strain into glass.
- Garnish with lemon twist.
What you should know
You can replace with sweet and sour mix to taste (I still prefer the fresh lemon juice).
