Here’s a great recipe because it is so simple (It probably shouldn’t even count as a “recipe”). Yummy too.
Ready
- Salmon steaks
- Maple Syrup (any type)
- Soy Sauce
- Toasted seasame seeds (optional)
- Rice - cooked separately
Set
- Bowl
- Ziplcok bag
- Baking pan
- Sauce pan (optional
Go
- Make a marinade using equal parts of syrup and soy sauce.
- Marinate Salmon at least 15 minutes in a ziploc bag, less than 1 hour.
- Preheat oven to 450°F.
- Bake uncovered, about 450°F until cooked through (about 5-10 minutes). Watch carefully.
- If you want to get fancy, you can boil and reduce extra marinade until is becomes a glaze.
- Sprinkle with toasted seasame seeds if you are serving to guests, otherwise, just dig in!
- Serve with rice.
